The Climb, a rural mountain transportation service provided by Via, is adding a second bus route, called the Peak to Peak Climb. This route will run on Thursdays beginning Feb. 13, traveling from Rollinsville to Ward, along the Peak to Peak Highway, stopping at several locations in Nederland. Riders are invited to try the new service for FREE during its inaugural month, February 13 – March 6. After the first month, the cost will be $2 per trip.
With the goal of providing transportation for individuals needing to access to services in Nederland, the Peak to Peak Climb is a collaborative effort of Gilpin County, Boulder County, Foothills United Way and Via.
The Thursday service aligns with the Nederland Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, and other social services offered at the Nederland Community Center on Thursdays.
