Via takes disability rights, and relationships, seriously. As part of our commitment to community outreach, our team is available to make presentations covering:

Volunteer Driver Safety Training
Via offers group training for volunteer drivers associated with local nonprofit or service organizations.
The Climb – Sustainable Rural Transportation
The Climb operates a regularly scheduled bus service Monday-Friday currently serving the Four Mile Canyon, Gold Hill and Ward mountain communities in Boulder County. The Climb provides sustainable subsidized transportation to lower the cost and environmental impact of commuting. For more information: www.the-climb.org.

Via partners with nonprofit organizations to coordinate and expand transportation options for vulnerable populations, including:
- The Boulder Shelter for the Homeless
- Boulder County Care Connect – Medical Mobility Volunteer Driver Collaboration

- Local Human Services Transportation Coordinating Councils
- Boulder County Jail

Via is available on a per-hour contract basis to provide affordable group transportation, prioritizing nonprofit, mission-aligned organizations serving older adults, people with disabilities, or those living with mobility limitations, as well as Via’s organizational funding partners. Additional groups may be authorized on a case-by-case basis.

Conference Room Use
Via’s Hoover Family Conference Center and other meeting rooms are available for nonprofit organizations and Via’s funding partners. Conference Room Guidelines
Social Enterprise and Earned Income Contracts
Via operates on a social enterprise business model, utilizing earned-income contracts to support our core mission services. Via currently operates the HOP, Access-a-Ride and Call-n-Ride transportation services under contractual relationships with the city of Boulder, University of Colorado-Boulder and RTD. (more)
