How Can the Mobility Partners Empower Your Journey in Boulder and Beyond?

We provide mobility options that fit unique transportation needs for you, your family, friends, and coworkers.

Meet Sarah, a Boulder resident who uses a combination of BCycle, Colorado CarShare, Commuting Solutions, and Via Mobility Services to get around town.

Sarah loves the convenience of using BCycle’s bike-sharing service to explore Boulder with friends. She finds it easy to rent a bike from one of many stations around the city and feels a sense of freedom pedaling around. She also appreciates reducing her carbon footprint while getting exercise.

When she needs to go a bit farther, Sarah turns to Colorado CarShare. She loves how easy it is to reserve a car through the app and pick it up from a nearby location. Plus, she says it’s always a fun adventure to try out different types of cars, from electric vehicles to hybrid SUVs. For Sarah, renting a car on-demand is affordable and flexible without the expense and hassle of owning a vehicle.

Inspired, Sarah wanted to help her work colleagues find more sustainable transportation options. She worked with Commuting Solutions on behalf of her employer to develop a customized commute plan that identified and developed commuting programs for their employees. These changes helped the business become certified by Colorado Clean Commute and receive a tax credit. Sarah also joined Commuting Solutions’ Workplace Commute Ambassadors, where she can access great tools and networking opportunities.

One time, Sarah needed knee surgery. She faced temporary challenges getting around while recovering from the procedure. She turned to Via Mobility Services for accessible transportation. She loves that Via’s drivers are friendly and professional and help her get in and out of the vehicle. After she stopped driving a personal car, Sarah helped her grandmother sign up to ride with Via.

Sarah says having reliable transportation options to accommodate her needs is comforting. She loves that she’s doing her part to reduce traffic and carbon emissions while caring for her health.

Bike sharing provides an eco-friendly, convenient, and cost-effective way to connect to public transportation, get to class, run errands around town, de-stress and navigate Boulder without worrying about parking, locks, or bike maintenance. Our pedal-assist e-bikes will get you there efficiently and with a dash of fun!

“Why does my heart skip a beat when I spy an iconic Boulder BCycle kiosk? Is it the beauty of the array? Is it the black-and-white siren call of electric steeds promising to cater to your everyday transportation impulses? Or is it the tangible proof of embodied optimism that a reliable, user-friendly, affordable, and environmentally simpatico transportation system is in the low-carbon Boulder here and now? All of the above!”
