Via welcomes new board members

Via recently announced the election of Marie Gambon, Scott Gresser and Sharon Svendsen to its volunteer board of directors.

“Via is honored to welcome Marie, Scott and Sharon as new board members. They are community-spirited individuals who will provide a wealth of experience and unique perspectives to Via’s board,” Lenna Kottke, executive director, said.

Marie-GambonMarie Gambon is vice president for people for Boulder Brands Inc. Prior to working at Boulder Brands, Inc., Gambon founded Gambon Enterprises, where she worked with companies in industries ranging from high tech to consumer goods. An HR specialist, Gambon has worked at Frontier Natural Brands, Celestial Seasonings, Inc., U.S. West and IBM. Gambon is past-president of Emergency Family Assistance Association and Meals on Wheels serving Boulder and Broomfield counties.  

 

Scott-GresserScott Gresser is vice president and chief financial officer of TRU Community Care, where he oversees the finance, facilities, information technology and administrative functions of TRU. Gresser served on TRU’s board of directors for five years, including two years as treasurer. Gresser has extensive experience in the publishing and telecommunication industries, where he held various positions at the Denver Post, Prairie Mountain Publishing Company and Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company.

 

Sharon-SvendsenSharon Svendsen is a solo practitioner specializing in estate planning and elder law. She served as president of the board of HospiceCare of Boulder & Broomfield Counties (now TRU Community Care). She has also served on the board of trustees of Boulder Community Hospital Foundation, the board of the Community Medical Center in Lafayette, the board of trustees of Frasier Retirement Community, the board of trustees of Imagine! Foundation, and the board of trustees of the Foundation for Boulder Valley Schools. An active member of the Coal Creek Rotary Club, she served as its president and is a past assistant district governor for District 5450 of Rotary International.
