The Colorado Association of Transit Agencies sponsored, and Via Mobility Services hosted, a two-day Train the Trainer event on September 19 and 20. Transit representatives from the metro area, Colorado Springs, Steamboat Springs, and the Western Slope convened for the training, which focused on Passenger Assistance, Safety, and Sensitivity (PASS). It was an honor and a privilege to host this event, as it also shined a spotlight on Via. Frank Bruno, our CEO, welcomed the group and highlighted what we do and how we make a difference for people needing our services. The training emphasized best instructional techniques, assisting the elderly and people with disabilities, and safely transporting passengers, including those using mobility devices. We thank CASTA for choosing Via to host this event and look forward to doing the same again in the future.
