Since January 1, 2025, Dena Boutwell has served as Deputy General Manager at Via Mobility Services. For six years prior, she led the Safety & Training program at Via Mobility Services, maintaining high safety standards and building strong partnerships with RTD and local governments.
In her role, Dena continues to oversee Safety & Training while supporting organization-wide initiatives, representing Via Mobility Services in public meetings, and strengthening partnerships, including the pursuit of direct-pay paratransit contracts.
Dena joined Via Mobility Services in 2018 after a decade with Boulder Valley School District as a Transportation Supervisor. She also brings experience in human resources, regulatory compliance, and transportation services for individuals with disabilities. Her leadership contributed to a 40% reduction in vehicle safety incidents, underscoring her commitment to community well-being.
Passionate about mobility and safety, Dena views this role as a natural fit. “Via Mobility Services is one of the most supportive and caring organizations I’ve worked for,” she shared. In her free time, she enjoys camping, jogging, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
