Via Mobility Services Attends 2025 FTA Drug and Alcohol Program National Conference

Via Mobility Services is committed to safety, integrity, and maintaining the highest standards in compliance. Via team members, Philip May, Senior Safety Specialist, and Dena Boutwell, Deputy General Manager, attended the FTA Drug and Alcohol Program National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, March 18–20, 2025.

The annual conference brings together professionals from across the country—including representatives from RTD, CDOT, and other transit contractors—to ensure alignment with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations. The event focuses on critical updates and best practices in drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive employees.

By participating in this conference, Via ensures our policies and training remain current with USDOT procedures and FTA’s Prevention of Alcohol Misuse and Prohibited Drug Use in Transit Operations.

We envision a future where all people, regardless of age, health, or ability, can access safe and reliable mobility. That includes making sure our team meets the highest standards for public safety and service delivery.
