At Via Mobility Services, we envision a future where all people—regardless of health, age, disability, income, or culture—have access to the mobility options they need to enhance their independence and quality of life. Trevor’s story is a shining example of that vision in action.
Trevor is a kind and cheerful young man whose bright smile brings joy to everyone around him. He enjoys a good cup of tea and loves watching classic ’90s sitcoms, with Full House at the top of his list. His laughter and positivity light up every room he enters.
Since 2006, Trevor has volunteered at Community Food Share, a local Boulder-Broomfield food bank offering groceries, fresh produce, and meals to neighbors in need. Every Friday, he follows his routine with care and confidence—cleaning cooler doors, organizing supplies, and managing recycling tasks with pride.
“I love volunteering here,” Trevor says. “It’s nice to have Via to take me back and forth.”
Before discovering Via Mobility Services, Trevor relied on his parents for transportation. Today, he travels to and from his volunteer shifts independently. “It was a good transition,” he shares. “I’d tell anyone not to hesitate to try Via Mobility Services. It’s a great organization.”
At Community Food Share, Trevor’s dedication and positive spirit have made him an essential part of the team. His supervisor, Anna, sees the difference his presence—and Via Mobility Services’ support—make each week. “He has his own area where he keeps his vest and checklist,” Anna says. “He knows exactly what to do and brings joy to everyone here.”
She also notes that Trevor is not alone in benefiting from accessible transportation. “We have volunteers and shoppers who rely on Via to get here. Without it, many wouldn’t be able to come. Via Mobility Services gives people independence and purpose. It’s truly life-changing.”
