This type of gift, also called an IRA Charitable Rollover, allows you to:
Your QCD gift supports safe, reliable, and caring transportation for older adults and people with disabilities in our community.
Give the gift of mobility today!
If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a tax-wise donation to support accessible transportation through a gift from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
Giving directly from your IRA can reduce your taxable income—and if you’re age 73 or older, your gift can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). This means you may save on taxes while helping older adults and people with disabilities access the rides they need to live independently.
Before making your gift, talk with your tax advisor to understand your options. You can also learn more from trusted resources like Schwab Charitable or Fidelity Charitable.
Donate Today and Make a Lasting Impact.
Donate from your donor-advised fund, gift stocks, or even cryptocurrency. Your contribution provides you with significant tax advantages and supports Via riders.
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is an account for charitable donations that offers tax benefits. Add money, stocks, and other assets to this account through organizations like Vanguard Charitable or a community foundation. When you contribute, you can get a tax break, and earnings aren’t taxed.
Donating stock (vs. cash) can save you money. When you donate stock, you avoid capital gains tax while deducting 100% of the value of the contribution.
Donate Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin, and other cryptocurrencies and reduce tax-gain burdens.
Under “Make a Donation” in the form below, select DAF, Stock, or Crypto to start making your donation. To receive a receipt, please include your email address.
We’re here to talk with you about how your legacy can support thousands of people with mobility limitations through the work of Via Mobility Services.
