Jennifer joined Via Mobility Services because she believes in the vision that everyone may need Via’s services at some point in life. Talking with neighbors and friends confirmed her choice. She was excited to work alongside kind, service-driven people for a greater good and found the team to be gracious, patient, and encouraging.
In her current role, Jennifer divides her time between Human Resources and Safety. She helps staff, strengthens processes, and ensures a safe environment for employees and riders alike. The most important thing she does is show up—she can’t be part of a solution if she’s not available.
She began her time at Via in a part-time, temporary HR Assistant role, helping the Human Resources department. At the same time, she spent eight years as a bus aide with Boulder Valley School District, supporting children with disabilities, and previously owned her own business for five years.
Originally from the East Coast, Jennifer moved from Pittsburgh to Colorado in 1997. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Communication Disorders and English Writing. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog, reading and drawing, spending time with her husband and grown children, and catching every sunrise and sunset she can.
