Zen joined Via Mobility Services after a meaningful experience showed him the importance of accessible transportation. While following a Via bus to take his father home from an appointment, he realized he wanted to be part of a team making mobility possible for everyone. One call later, Zen began a career dedicated to empowering independence through safe, reliable transportation.
For Zen, mobility means giving people equal access to everyday life and the freedom to live independently, no matter their circumstances. A competitive powerlifter with national and international experience, Zen brings the same focus, discipline, and dedication to his work that he does to his sport.
Zen trains and mentors new drivers, develops ongoing programs, and ensures every team member is prepared to provide safe, reliable service. Having started as a FlexRide Driver and advancing through HOP Driver to Field Trainer, he draws on his hands-on experience to help drivers succeed while keeping safety and quality at the forefront of every journey.
Outside of work, Zen likes to play video games and hang out with his two cats, Khan and Rain.
