Via’s executive director receives community award

Lenna Kottke, Via’s executive director, was one of five local women recently honored as Women Who Light the Community by the Business Women’s Leadership Group of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce.

These remarkable leaders are an inspiration to us all,” said John Tayer, president of the Boulder Chamber, in a press statement. “We’re proud to honor their accomplishments and to share their experiences with others in the hope that their stories will ignite new ideas and innovations to move the community forward.”

Talking about why she was motivated to work in community service, Kottke said: “What really makes my job meaningful is that I love bringing people together around a common vision and giving them the tools, resources and freedom to use their talents and gifts to accomplish that vision.”
