Winter Safety:

Via drivers are not permitted to assist passengers by shoveling or otherwise clearing walkways, driveways, ramps, steps, porches, bus stops or other points of access at a rider’s home or destination. It is a rider’s responsibility to provide safe and reasonable access to their residence by removing snow, ice, and debris such as tree branches, trash cans, etc. from pathways to their residence. Please do not ask our drivers to assist in this way as it can cause injury to the driver and the driver can be assessed points against his/her company driving record for doing so. The driver and Call Center employees may cancel a trip if these access points are not cleared and appear unsafe.

Snow removal resources may be available through Cultivate Ice Busters program (303-443-1933), City of Longmont’s Snow Chasers Volunteers (303-651-8495 or 303-651-8411) or through your local senior center. Contact your property management company or Homeowner’s Association, if applicable.

Please work with us to keep you and our wonderful drivers safe this winter. -Thank you.
