Via Raises $76,611 Through Colorado Gives Day Campaign

Champions of accessible transportation came together to support Via Mobility Services’ campaign that culminated on Colorado Gives Day, Dec. 6, 2022. A total of $76,611 was raised, including gifts from more than 400 individual donors.

“We are so grateful to everyone who supported Via Mobility Services this Colorado Gives Day,” said Via CEO Frank Bruno. “Donors really showed up to support our expansion and the growing need for friendly, safe, and one-of-a-kind transportation for older adults and people with mobility limitations. In just one year, demand for our services has increased by 15 percent.”

Via received a $5,000 matching grant from the Paige Foundation. Via will also receive a portion of the Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund, which increases the value of every single donation made through ColoradoGives.org.

“We are grateful to the Paige Foundation for contributing to our campaign and helping us surpass our goal of $75,000,” said Zoe DeVito, Director of Development and Communications. “Matching grants like this are very effective motivators.”

Jean Hatfield, an older adult who uses Via Mobility Services, says, “Via gives those of us without transportation an opportunity to remain independent and also have a social life.” Jean, who resides in a senior living community, coordinates regular outings for her community so they can enjoy shopping, restaurants, and entertainment together.
