Via Meets a Milestone of 45 Years of Serving Our Community With Accessible Transportation

Throughout our 45-year journey, Via Mobility Services has remained deeply rooted in our community. Every ride Via provides is more than just a trip from one point to another; each trip is an opportunity for someone with a mobility limitation to access essential services, connect with loved ones, and participate fully in our community.

On Via’s 45th birthday on April 18th, 2024, members of our community including Via riders, donors, and partners, gathered to celebrate our shared milestone. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you and everyone who has supported our mission of Mobility for Life over the years. All of your contributions are vital in shaping Via’s legacy of accessibility and inclusion. The stories you shared fuel us in our work, like Craig’s story about his inspiration, his father, shared in the video below.

It is through our collective efforts that Via has been able to reach this significant milestone. With a firm commitment to continued community engagement and innovation, we look forward to the years ahead with optimism and determination. As we face new challenges this year of reduced funding amidst the greatest demand for accessible transportation ever faced, your continued support is more important than ever. Please stay tuned for more information in our upcoming 2023 Annual Report, published in the summer of 2024.

Here’s to 45 years of impact and many more to come together!
