Supporting Community ResilienceBuilding Resilient Communities: Via Thanks Xcel Energy for Crisis Response Partnership

Thank You, Xcel Energy, for Supporting Community Resilience

Via Mobility Services extends our heartfelt gratitude to Xcel Energy for the opportunity to participate in the East Boulder County Safety and Resilience Fairs, held on Saturday, April 26, at the Nederland Community Center and Saturday, May 3, at the Superior Community Center.

These events gave us the chance to connect with our neighbors and share information about Via’s Crisis Response & Community Safety services. When local governments partner with Via Mobility Services, we’re ready to respond—providing essential First and Second Crisis Response transportation during wildfires, floods, and other emergencies.

Via Mobility Services’ role in emergency transportation services in Colorado has been vital during some of the state’s most challenging times. We supported evacuations during the 2013 floods and responded to multiple Colorado wildfires, including the Marshall Fire in 2022. Our work has been recognized by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of Disaster Management.

Though these services are unfunded, we remain committed to delivering them. This is part of our promise to reinvest in our community—because safety, independence, and access to mobility are at the heart of our mission.

We’re proud to stand with other dedicated organizations working to build resilient communities.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, asked questions, and joined in making Boulder County a stronger and safer place for all.

And once again, thank you, Xcel Energy, for your leadership and ongoing support.

Together, we move forward—safely, and with care for one another.
