Thursday, August 8, 2013 | Time: 6-7:30 p.m., Elevations Credit Union, 2600 Diagonal Highway, Boulder
Making the decision to give up driving can be huge, and for some, emotionally charged. In part, it is because of what driving represents – the freedom to come and go spontaneously, self-worth, and self-identity.
In this free seminar hosted by Elevations Credit Union, Nicole Cavalino, Via’s director of customer and community service, will present ways to address concerns about driving with an at-risk family member as well as provide an overview of Via’s paratransit transportation, travel training, mobility options information and referral, and other community resources for at-risk drivers.
Attendance is limited, so please RSVP to Elevations Credit Union in advance.
