In a successful first-time collaboration, Via transported movie goers between venues at the 8th Annual Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF). Unsure of how the shuttle would work or how much it would be needed, Via worked with BIFF to determine shuttle stops and a schedule that would accommodate movie goers with mobility limitations as well as those who needed to move quickly between the venues at Boulder Theater and Boulder High School.
It was a great opportunity for Via to spread the word to the community about its new name as well as talk to movie goers about its expanded services. Via volunteers working at the shuttle stops chatted up guests and then had an opportunity to sneak into the venues and watch when the movies started.
While no famous filmmakers approached the organization while it was on duty, Via has hopes that its lovely new decaling made a great impression and will be ready to respond when Hollywood calls.
