Donors are the best anniversary gift!

Today, Via is celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year. We’ve come a long way since those early days when a handful of employees ran the office, drove buses, serviced our vehicles in a dirt driveway and stored extra tires in a coat closet!

Today Via has more than 280 employees, a fleet of 150 vehicles, and provides a range of transportation and mobility options in Boulder County and beyond.

And we couldn’t have done it without our loyal donors. Individual and organizational donors are the heart of Via’s mission to help older adults, people with disabilities and others with limited mobility stay connected.

We wish to thank several long-term donors who have donated each year for more than 20 years.

Bonita R. of Boulder first gave in 1994, although she doesn’t quite remember what inspired her. “I like to give to organizations that support seniors because they need the most help,” she said. “I know there are people who couldn’t make it without you, and I plan to continue giving to Via as long as I am able.”

First Presbyterian Church of Boulder is Via’s longest institutional donor giving nearly $60,000 over the last 22 years. In addition to financial support, the church has donated a 25-passenger bus, served as the venue for fundraising concerts and provided community support by way of church members who have served on the board of directors, volunteered at events and worked as employees.

The ongoing support of Bonita, First Presbyterian Church and hundreds of other donors like them is going back to the community. Thank you!
